Jeep Pickup Ready for 2011

Jeep has been successful with launching new models in the past, such as their Liberty and Patriot line. But now the stakes are up, and Jeep is heading back into a category they haven't dealt with in ages - pickup trucks.

According to a recent report, Jeep will launch a new pickup truck in 2011, for the 2012 model year.

While details are limited, the truck is expected to be a regular cab model (two-door) with styling inspired by the 2005 Gladiator concept. It will be based on the Wrangler Unlimited and feature additional storage behind the front seats.
