Trim Levels of the 2021 Jeep Gladiator

Brought to you by Dave Smith Motors

First introduced to the Jeep lineup in 2020, the Gladiator merged superior off-road capability with the utility of a truck! The Gladiator is designed in the image of the Wrangler, with a removable top with a sunroof, removable doors, and a fold-down windshield for Jeep's legendary open-air driving experience. But the Gladiator places a five-foot truck bed behind the cab! This isn't the first time Jeep has entered the truck market. In fact, the original Gladiator pickup began production in 1962 but was discontinued nine years later when the J10 pickup was manufactured in its place. In 1988, the J10 was discontinued, and Jeep focused on their SUV lineup. In the early 2000s, Jeep designers drew up some Gladiator concepts that never made it past the conceptual phase. Fast-forward to 2020, and Jeep has made arguably the most capable pickup of all time! The Gladiator comes in four main trim levels, Sport, Overland, Mojave, and Rubicon. Each trim brings more features than the last making the lineup very well-equipped! Keep reading below to learn more!

Sport

The Sport trim kicks off the Gladiator lineup with a healthy list of standard features. These include 17-inch alloy wheels, a removable soft top with a sunroof, removable doors, interior drain plugs for easy wash-out, 4x4, heavy-duty axles, a 3-position tailgate, and a 5-inch infotainment touchscreen.
  • Removable Top and Doors
  • Durable Steel Bed with Three-Position Tailgate
  • Trail Rated® 4x4 Capability
  • Heavy-Duty Dana® 44 Axles

Overland

While the Overland trim levels up on luxury, it doesn't sacrifice capability! The Gladiator Overland features power windows and door locks, tinted rear glass, heated side mirrors, 18-inch alloy wheels, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, and a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration.

Mojave

The Mojave trim strips the Gladiator's Trail Rated badge off and replaces it with a Desert Rated badge. The Gladiator Mojave includes FOX suspension parts, a wider track, 33-inch all-terrain tires on 17-inch alloy wheels, high-clearance fender flares, an electronic locking rear differential, and the Off-Road+ button! Hitting Off-Road+ when the Gladiator is in 4HI drive mode will automatically adjust the throttle, traction control, and transmission shift points to allow for superior high-speed sand dune drives.

  • 33-Inch Tires
  • FOX 2.5-inch internal bypass shocks
  • 8.4-Inch Infotainment Touchscreen

Rubicon

For many years, the Wrangler Rubicon has been an icon in the off-roading community with its world-class capability. The Gladiator Rubicon continues that tradition with an electronic disconnecting sway bar, Selec-Speed Control, Rock-Trac 4x4 with a two-speed transfer case with a 4:1 crawl ratio, and electronic locking front and rear differentials.
