Could you talk about the Cherokee's trim levels and features?
There are five Cherokee trim levels to choose from. The base model, called the Latitude, starts the lineup off with standard features like a rearview camera, Bluetooth, automatic LED headlights, a 7" touchscreen, six-speaker sound system, smartphone integration, and two USB ports. The upper trim levels build on the Latitude with leather upholstery, power-adjustable seats, a power liftgate, an 8.4" touchscreen, nine-speaker sound system, driver-seat memory functions, ventilated front seats, and so much more! The Trailhawk trim level is built for serious off-roading with features like skid plates, increased ground clearance, wider wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires, and unique upholstery.
What kind of engine options are offered?
The Cherokee's powertrain lineup consists of three engine options. The base engine is a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder that produces up to 180 horsepower and 171 pound-feet of torque. More power can be found with the available 3.2-liter Pentastar V6 engine that delivers up to 271 horsepower and 239 pound-feet of torque. The final engine offered, a 2.0-liter turbo 4-cylinder, creates up to 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. All engines can be configured with standard front-wheel-drive or the available four-wheel-drive systems. Jeep also pairs all three engines with a 9-speed automatic transmission. The Cherokee can also handle towing, maxing out at 4,500 pounds.
