What are the engine options for the Gladiator?
Two engine options are available for the 2021 Gladiator, and they both are some of the most powerful in its class. All trims come standard with a 3.6-liter V6 that pumps out an impressive 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Mating with this engine is either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. Optional on all but the Mojave is a 3.0-liter diesel-powered turbocharged V6 capable of producing 260 horsepower and a remarkable 442 lb-ft of torque. All versions of the Gladiator come with a 5-foot cargo bed and four-wheel-drive. Towing is no problem for the Gladiator as it can haul 7,650 pounds with a payload capacity of up o 1,700 pounds.
What are some of the Gladiators features?
There are four trim levels available for the Jeep Gladiator, and each comes with an amazing set of features. Starting things out is the Sport, which comes with cruise control, a manually adjustable tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, an eight-speaker audio system, and a 5-inch central display with voice control capability. Also standard is a soft folding top, removable doors, and a fold-down front windshield. There are several sub-trim available for the Sport, known as the Sport S, the Willys, and the 80th Anniversary Edition that provides several interior upgrades and more tech. Overland versions of the Gladiator come with automatic headlights, power windows, heated power mirrors, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a 7-inch central display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. If you're looking for a ton of off-road prowess, the Rubicon gives it to you with such features as a 4.10 rear axle ratio, 33-inch all-terrain tires, fenders with increased clearance, FOX shock absorbers, locking front and rear differentials, and body-protecting rock rails and skid plates. The desert rated Mojave offers you a reinforced frame, FOX internal bypass shock absorbers, and Desert Rated badge.
What are some of the Gladiators safety features?
Several driver's safety aids are available for the 2021 Jeep Gladiator so that you can get behind the wheel with confidence. Available is a Blind-Spot Monitoring System, which will alert you if the vehicle in the next lane is in your blind spot. Also available is an Adaptive Cruise Control System, which helps the driver maintain a pre-set distance between the Gladiator and the traffic ahead. Finally, the Forward Collision Mitigation System will help warn the driver of an impending collision and apply the brakes in certain situations.
