Can you talk about the TRX's features?
The TRX is ready to take on the toughest terrain! Building off the Limited trim level, the TRX comes packed with features including five underbody skid plates, an electronic locking differential, and a Dana 60 solid rear axle. Additional features found within the TRX include upgraded brakes for superior stopping power, 35-inch all-terrain tires, a 2-inch suspension lift, and Bilstein adaptive dampers with remote reservoirs. Launch control is also standard and real-time access to performance data is offered via the 12-inch screen. The suite of customizable performance and off-road pages helps drivers tailor their TRX driving experience to their adventure. The dashboard monitors instantaneous horsepower readings, personal record, steering angle measurements, and so much more!
What kind of engine is powering the TRX?
Under the hood of the TRX, drivers will find a supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi V8 engine that produces up to 702 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. This engine is capable of soaring from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 4.5 seconds! This engine also boasts a high-performance air induction system that filters four times more debris and dirt than competitors while consuming up to 32.9 liters of air every minute. Drivers have eight drive modes to choose from via the exclusive switch bank. They include Sport Model for quicker shift times, Snow Mode for adventures in even the worst weather, Custom Mode for a tailored driving experience, Mud/Sand Mode for those terrain conditions that can get sticky, Rock Mode when boulders are ahead, and Baja Mode when taking on sand dunes!
Could you tell us about the TRX's extreme testing?
Ram has put the 2021 TRX through thousands of miles of testing to ensure that it is ready for every kind of adventure. The extreme environmental testing occurred in a few different places including thousands of feet above sea level in Colorado, the bitter bold of northern Minnesota and Michigan, and the sweltering heat of Arizona. The TRX also took on two-lane tracks in a variety of different states and crawled rocks and sand dunes in Moab, Utah. The TRX was also put through a lengthy series of standardized and laboratory tests!
