The good news is not only are both of these trucks incredibly powerful, but they come with two of the most gorgeous interiors ever created, as you can opt for leather seats and all the latest tech. While we think that either one of these trucks would make a great addition, one has an advantage over the other. To find out which one is best for you, continue reading our comparison below!

2022 Ram 1500 Power & Handling

There are four engines available for the 2022 Ram 1500, and each one delivers in terms of power and capability. The standard engine is a 3.6-liter V6 that pumps out a solid 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. This engine comes standard with an eTorque system which helps improve the fuel economy and the engine's stop/start capability. Those who want a touch more power can opt for a wonderful 5.7-liter V8 that pounds the pavement with 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque which you can get with or without the eTorque. Want an engine with some diesel power? Then the Ram 1500 is for you as it's a diesel-powered and turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that comes with 260 horsepower and an incredible 480 lb-ft of torque. The last engine comes standard on the TRX trim, and it's a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 that gets you a pavement-pounding 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. These engines all pair with an eight-speed automatic transmission which gets you a smooth ride. The best part is that you can get any Ram version with four-wheel drive!

2022 Ford F-150 Power & Handling

On the Ford F-150, you have a few engine options that try to counter what the Ram 1500 offers. First, most trims will see a 3.3-liter V6 that comes with a solid 290 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque. From here, there are several options available, with one being a turbocharged 2.7-liter V6 which gets you 325 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. Another option is an excellent 5.0-liter V8 with 400 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque or a 3.5-liter V6 with 400 horsepower. Like the Ram 1500, the Ford F-150 also has a diesel engine which will get you a considerable 250 horsepower and 440 lb-ft of torque. These engines come with an automatic transmission with the option of rear or four-wheel-drive. Drivers will find a lot to love about these engines, but if you're going for power, you're going to want to go with the F-150.

Next is the Lariat, which adds LED bed lighting, a 12-inch center touchscreen, dual-zone climate control, and remote start. Want some more luxury?
