Ram Launches Additional Built to Serve Models

Brought to you by Dave Smith Motors

Ram has officially announced the fifth and final installment of its popular Built to Serve edition series. Ram is celebrating this great country's five land, sea, and air-based armed forces. The final installment provides drivers with a maritime force=inspired theme in both Spitfire and Bright White exterior colors that come with a black interior with orange accent stitching. With this latest truck in the Built to Serve series, each of the five branches of the U.S. military has been honored with two specific paint colors designed to envoke the mission, history, and spirit of service. Continue reading as we explore what the built to serve edition entails along with all the features.

Built to Serve Design Details

All five of the Built to Serve editions of the Ram 1500 come with some unique interior and exterior details that set them apart. This includes an American flag and a Built to Serve decal on each of the rear quarter panels. Also, Built to Serve trucks get some slick exterior design cues such as 20-inch aluminum wheels that have a unique-to-the-edition Technical Gray finish. You also get body-color wheel flairs that accent the exterior. Taking a look at the front end of the Ram Built to Serve edition, you'll find an all-black grille, surround black bumpers, and premium lighting. The look is completed with black badges, black wheel-to-wheel side steps, and dual four-inch black exhaust tips.

Features for Built to Serve Editions

Each version of the Ram's Built to Serve displays the owner's military pride with "Built to Serve" embroidered on the Velcro panels of the front seats and the Velcro panels front seat inboard shoulder panel. Buyers can even apply their own patches to personalize their Built to Serve edition. Additional features for the Built to Serve edition include a Built to Serve instrument panel badge, optional lockable console storage, and deeply bolstered cloth and vinyl Sports seats. Underneath everything, Ram Built to Serve editions are ready for action with all-terrain-tires, an electronic locking rear axle, hill descent control, front suspension skid plates, tow hooks, a transfer case skid plate, and heavy-duty off-road-calibrated front and rear shock absorbers.

About the Built to Serve Initiative

As part of the Built to Serve initiative, Ram brings further attention to its volunteer initiative called Ram Nation. Ram Nation is a grass routes initiative that has been organizing events since 2015, and through the launch of its Built to Serve edition trucks, the company has a reinforced vision for those who serve our nation and communities. Additionally, Ram Nation is recruiting individuals to donate their time and volunteer in communities across the nation. Ram is extending this invitation to all individuals regardless of whether or not they own a Ram truck. You can register for Ram Nation right on their website!
