Learn How Ram is Honoring First Responders!

In the 2021 model year, Ram created the Built to Serve special editions, honoring each United States Armed Forces branch with themed Ram 1500 models. Ahead of the 2022 model year, Ram felt as though it is especially important to celebrate the first responders. Therefore, the 2022 Ram 1500 will be available in Built to Serve editions to honor firefighters, police officers, and emergency medical service providers. Continue reading below to learn more about the 2022 Ram 1500 Built to Serve edition lineup!

Ram Built to Serve exterior features

The three aforementioned first responder services Ram is honoring come with two carefully selected and unique low-volume exterior paint colors. Ram chose these colors to capture the history, mission, and spirit of that service. For instance, the firefighter-inspired Built to Serve Ram 1500 comes in Redline with Diamond Black exterior accents and a black interior with orange accent stitching. Another distinguishing external feature is the United States flag and Built to Serve decal on each rear quarter panel. Other distinctive features include 20-inch Technical Gray-finished alloy wheels, black-bezel premium lighting, black bumpers, and an all-black grille surround. This theme is complemented by two four-inch black exhaust tips, black wheel-to-wheel side steps, and black badging.

Interior features of Ram Built to Serve trucks

Ram continues the theme of the specific emergency service throughout the interior, each Built to Serve edition is accented with corresponding, unique color stitching. The first installment of the 2022 Built to Serve truck lineup offers an orange interior accent stitching. The new Ram Built to Serve trucks are also ready to show off their owner's first responder pride with Velcro panels on each front seat embroidered with the Built to Serve badge and on the front seat inboard shoulder panel. Owners can add their own patches like slogans, name tapes, or flags to personalize their Built to Serve edition truck. Front seatbacks are covered with the pouch attachment ladder system/modular lightweight load-bearing equipment webbing to attach additional pouches or equipment.
