Engines for the 2022 Ram 2500
There are two potent engines available for the 2022 Ram 2500. The standard one is a 6.4-liter V8 that pumps out a rather impressive 410 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque, and the option being a spectacular 6.7-liter turbodiesel V8 that kicks out 370 horses and a class-leading 850 lb-ft of torque. The turbodiesel is optional on all trim except for the Power Wagon. While front-wheel-drive comes standard, four-wheel-drive is an available option on all trims outside of the Power Wagon, where it comes standard. Towing is very impressive for the Ram 2600 as you can haul up to 20,000 pounds with a payload capacity of 4,010 pounds.
New Enhanced Power Wagon for the Ram 2500
While most drivers will get the Ram 2500 for the power, and the Power Wagon trim provides that, this trim gives drivers a little extra in terms of comfort and technology. New for the Ram 2500 is a Level 3 Equipment Package with an amazing-looking black grille mesh, a Gunmetal RAM badge, and premium headlamps that come with Gloss Black surrounds. Inside the cabin, there is a 12-inch touchscreen that comes with the latest version of the Uconnect system and a spectacular 750-watt 17-speaker Harmon Kardon audio system with excellent crystal clear sound. The seats for the Power Wagon have the option of either premium Medium Greystone Natura Plus or optional Bristol leather bucket seats that are embroidered with the Power Wagon logo. Finally, the Power Wagon has an electronic transfer case on Level 2 equipment packages.
Advanced Technology for the 2022 Ram 2500
The 2022 Ram 2500 is filled with technology which makes it the most well-rounded pickup on the road. On the Big Horn trim and above, drivers and passengers will be treated to the new Uconnect 5C system,, which has four times faster speeds than the previous version and can hold three times as much memory. In addition, with this system, you get Wi-Fi capability and tow-specific navigation. This system is also constantly evolving, providing you with more features, content, and services. Last but not least is a Tow Mode which is now available with a digital rearview mirror that will allow the driver to see behind the trailer with a remote camera. There is also a Trailer Hitch Light included in the Trailer Tow Group which has four LED lights that come in crisp and clear and are located directly above the trailer hitch so you can tow more quickly when it's dark out.
